Feline training time is here. You have decided to train your cat before it totally destroys your couch and carpeting. Now that you have decided to train your cat which method are you going to use? Have you done any research on the methods available? Wow, I did not even know that you could train your cat. I still not convinced that a cat has enough smarts to be trained, never the less we are going to discuss feline training.
While I was researching this topic, I could not believe that there was that much written about training cats. I am beginning to think everyone in the world owns a cat and has information to offer on their training. Just do a search on Google if you think I am kidding. I found hundreds of methods which are all guaranteed to work, but I am very skeptical about most of these methods of feline training.
I found three methods of feline training that I thought were worth mentioning. The first method is by Liz Barton a self proclaimed Texas cat wrangler who claims she has the method to train even the most stubborn breeds of cats. She has transformed her own anti-social cat into a loving kitten type in less than two weeks. Her book Cat Secrets Revealed can show you how to train your cat to use the litter box instead of the floor and a scratching post instead of your furniture. This is one method of feline training.
The next book is by Dr. Chris, DVM and its 
title is Problem Cat Behaviors and she claims that she can help you solve your kitten’s problems quickly. Her method is attacking the behavior problem quickly as possible when the problems occurs thereby teaching your cat to be a pussycat instead of a being an aggressive misfit. Most of the problem behaviors have been analyzed determining a cats behavior and the necessary human intervention necessary to correct the problem. She even says you can contact her personally by email if you feel it is necessary. This seems to be the best in my opinion of feline training methods.
The last document to consider is the Complete Cat Training from the Kingdom of Pets.com that covers every aspect of cat behavior training so that you can fix any problem that occurs. They claim even the most aggressive cat behavior can be trained, even if you have never tried to control your cats behavior before. The document covers more than twenty-five cat behavioral problems, with real life studies provided for each problem. These are the methods of Feline Training that we recommend to use for your cat.
